We're still in the mid to high $2 range here in Western NY. Not in line with the rest of the country, nor does it in any way reflect the cost of oil - even looking back a bit on oil prices.

Regular finally dropped below $2/gal yesterday here in the St. Louis Metro East (Illinois) area. Premium is still at about $2.20/gal, but that too is sliding on a daily basis.

In the panhandle of Florida, I saw $1.95 for regular and $2.06 or so for premium.

Too many people with cars that get 26-30 mpg on the highway too wrapped up in the price of gasoline.

I've got 20 gallons of hurricane gas in my shed that I'll be pouring into my truck soon. Paid $3.85 a gallon for it back in June but glad I didn't need it.
