Default Should I do It? Yes, No, Maybe?

Well here it is...

Trade the C6 for a New 2008 BMW M3 Coupe 6Speed Blue, Black Interior with Carbon Fiber Leather Trim, Navi, Carbon Fiber Roof, 19" M Wheels.

Drove the car today pulls nice in the high rpm range, but car has like no torque. Interior blows away our C6 Interior by far. Car handles and brakes awesome.

What has me very interested is I can get the car at invoice might be able to get it a little under since my friend works at the dealer. Also can get 0.9% APR. Soooo kinda up in the air about getting it, only thing holding me back is the torque on the car it sucks...

So yes, no, maybe?

I had a 2005 M3 Convertible and got rid of it for a C6. The M3 was an excellent car, really nice. But it wasn't a Corvette.

The car had a lot of power but I found it hesitated for about a 1/2 sec before accelerating. Great toys and gadgets, cool interior.

If you want a luxury sporty car, the M3 is it. If you want a real sports car w/ *****, then it's a vette.

Get whatever makes you happiest... Its you who will be driving the car after all...
For me the prospect of V8 power with back seats is very alluring, but the M3 is just too heavy and underpowered to make it a very exciting car, in my opinion... And too expensive to mod... If I was looking for that kind of car I'd much rather get an Audi RS4; still heavy as hell but at least you get all wheel drive handling, and a phenomenal exhaust note...

NO WAY!

M3 in addition to your Vette, YES!

I got to dog the heck out of a M3 and it is a very fun car, lacked the TQ a Vette but felt a lot more nimble.

BTW the 09' I drive is MUCH nicer.

Absolutely yes! If you're even thinking about it, go do it. Don't just wait around. Sell the Vette, get a BM and have fun. That's waht life is all about right?

I've owned a few(325I, 528I)... Nice cars, but not iconic like the Corvette. In a BMW you get lost in the crowd on the road(might as well be driving a Honda). On the other hand, when you drive a Corvette people treat you like a rock star!! Only a few people can tell a M3 from a regular 3series coupe...

I suspect that once the new wears off you'll wish you were back in a Corvette.
