The stang would be my son's ride. I would be afraid to stick the vette under a oil leaking Ford

The ceiling in the garage is 9'. The cut out is 6' x7' 24" depth.
The lift is a Pro Park 8s The roof clearance on the stang is 55.1"
There is a good 8 to 12"" clearance with the vette raised to the max.

It is not advisable to cut the bottom cord of a truss roof as I have done here with out consulting a qualified contractor.
For even this short span there are two suspended beams and considerable bracing involved.

As a structural engineer (aviation), cutting that truss gives me goose bumps. But, houses don't fly, so it is probably cool. Nice Vette! I have an '07 LMB coupe. My garage is barely too short to fit both my Vette and the wife's Accord in tandem. Maybe I should consider stacking.

Yes it is electric/hydraulic.
The lift has only been setup for a few hours.
It seems to go up in about 40 or so seconds and down a little quicker.
I still need to tweek the position of the lift a bit more before I bolt it to the floor.
