Any 2010 rumors out there?

Given no such need on the C6, I am doubtful we will see any exterior changes unless the crash standards change during the production run.
The C4 interior changed something like four times (IIRC), but given current crash-test requirements, I doubt we will see that in the C6.
It would be nice, however ... I sort of miss the yearly changes (even ignoring the facias, the C4 gill panel changed ever couple of years, so at least there was a small way to identify the years ... the C5 never changed).

I would be among the very first in line with a check in hand should they produce a Z06 convertible. FWIW, mine would be Cyber Gray with the "4" interior...or latest iteration thereof. (A6, too!!!!)
Peace, out.

I think you'll see the usual two or three new colors (come on, dark green!) and some more interior upgrades. I agree a convertible Z06 may be a popular offering, but we have to remember that any changes to the C6 will have to increase sales with the lowest possible corporate outlay - and I'm not sure how expensive it would be for GM to offer a ragtop Z06. It might not be cost-effective for them, and that (unfortunately) is what's going to drive everything from this point forward.
Simply put regarding any future C6 changes, developments or upgrades: If the potential or projected increased sales will overcome the tooling expense, then that change has a chance. If not, it doesn't.

ummm...two totally different cars with two totally different business models. The Viper is a low production car. The Z06 is built til the lots are packed with them. Even with the Viper's low production, but with it's limited option list, the Viper quickly saturates the market year after year. And I believe only 2,000 are made. More comparable would be the ZR1 or Mustang Shelby GT500KR. Sure, when you are only going to build 1 to 2K a year you can limit the options such as the tranny. But GM is trying to sell anywhere from 5K to 7K Z06's that really haven't changed in 4 years. An auto option and a bump in HP IMO is a no brainer.

True, but they will also run the C6 into the ground. If we end up with 10+ years of them on the road it would really suck for resale value and people will tire of the same old Corvette every year.

Improved material quality throughout w/higher quality leather and plastics on the base option.
Even the leather wrap option(while better than the base) is lacking in quality. The leather feels & looks very hard and cheap, and where is the leather aroma?? Also, the doors panels seem half a$$ed done.
Not enough attention to details throughout.

My crystal ball says the biggest changes for 2010 will be:
-- 3% price increase
-- new premium silver color (which will be loved before anyone sees it)
-- new premium green color (which will be hated before anyone sees it)
-- new optional hard-to-clean wheel design
-- more seat padding
Bold Prediction: The '09 & '10 models will be more alike than any two years of the entire C6 run.

I really don't see adding more HP as doing much if anything to get more sales of this car. There already aren't any sports car competitors in this price range making any kind of HP war. There also is no one that isn't going to buy this car because it only has 430 or so HP, but will be all over it if it has 475. The most that would do is perhaps make someone rethink getting a Z06 for the base model.
If you are going to do anything it has to be an attempt to get people that already weren't gung-ho on the C6 but want a sports car. These are people perhaps looking at a Porsche or even a sports sedan. You aren't in a HP war there, but you certainly are in a fit and finish and dynamics war. So further tweak the interior and tune up the steering and shifter.
Adding more HP this many model years in is sort of like asking a very well known super model to add just a touch more makeup in hopes someone else might find her beautiful. Instead they should have advised her to read a book. Battling vacuous, not pretty, will get you new converts at this stage.
