My sentiments as well. However, I don't blame the police, they appropriately backed off. The driver is solely responsible for his own death.
I don't understand why some forum members feel the need to call the deceased derogatory names. I guess it makes them feel like a big man.

This happened last night in my small town just a few miles from my house. Car involved was a yellow '07. This is pretty big news around here. This must have been one very bad wreck.

I wouldn't say it's worth more than a life, but a 22-year old with a previous criminal history doing something that stupid isn't "worth" all that much to me compared to the rest of the population...What would his particular life be "worth" in the scheme of things? I think it's pretty safe to say he had no aspirations of being an upstanding citizen.
22 is too old for the "stupid kid mistake" excuse. Had that guy not offed himself there, he would have continued to be a degenerate piece of garbage.

Yes, but you reap what you sow! Besides it sounds like this guy was a real piece of work! Except for the corvette owner, sounds like poetic justice to me!

Glad the criminal got what he deserved, one less thief in the world and no more chances for him to hurt or kill an innocent person.
I feel sorry for the owner of the vette - having a yellow 08 myself I'd lose my mind if someone stole it.
