It's coated. Can't recall but I think it's no alcohol- and no ammonia-content products. Water, car soap and micros will work on outside. Water and micro on inside will do just fine. (I used to have two different ones on Corvettes).

Notice: If you use a glass treatment and/or
conditioner that contains ethyl alcohol or ethyl
sulfate on the roof panel, you could damage
the panel. The repairs would not be covered by
your warranty. Only use a GM-approved
glass cleaner on the roof panel.
Special care is necessary when cleaning,
removing, and/or storing the roof panel.
• Flush with water to remove dust and dirt, then
dry the panel.
• Clean a transparent roof panel with GM Glass
Cleaner. Leave the cleaner on the panel for
one minute, then wipe the panel with a
soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use glass cleaner
on a painted roof panel.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning materials on
either type of panel.
If water drops are frequently allowed to dry on the
roof panel, impurities in the water will adhere to
the top. These impurities may etch or mar
the finish. When the panel gets wet, dry it off.

You guys worry to much. I wash it just like any other panel. Gold Class car wash soap, clay bar, polish, wax. It sees everything and it still looks like new.

use a good car soap first and wash it..
then
Zaino. has no solvents. i know lots of folks that use it on the clear top, layer it. It protects and repells bird droppings and etc. after that, its easy to clean with his z6 detailer and fine microfiber towel such as Concurs.

I use mostly the Honda cleaner and polish. (can be found @ motorcycle dealership) Works great on the paint too. Also, Plexis if I can't find Honda stuff.

Invisible glass says right on the bottle not to use on polycarbonate plastic. Wonder if some of these guys with hairline cracks and hazy discolored transparent roofs used this stuff on it? Use what you want... I'll keep using the GM cleaner for $5 a can, eliminates the guesswork.

Not recommended for use on polycarbonate plastic.
I did not know this and will stop using it to clean the inside and outside of my transparent roof. Only used it a couple of times so I hope it didnt harm it much.
Thanks for the OP feedback on this.
