Rejex treatment
I just got a couple of bottles of Rejex to use on my '09. Be interested to hear of benefits, how well it works, and, if there are any, negatives.

Welcome to a whole new level of car finish..
-step one is to totally clean car which means either clay bar or clear coat cleaner... regardless of what wax/finisher/etc you use remember the best appearance/shine all starts with the base being totally clean and clear
-Rejex... once above is done a very simple process... with no effort spread (as per Rejex instructions) evenly and no need to be aggressive...cover whole car if you want and this is my variant..let 'cure' over night and then buff off NOTE: not in hot sun light but in shade as in garage
-buff off gently
-then repeat...apply Rejex and cure again and buff off
-then apply detailer of choice
You will have a stellar finish and from experience many will state it is a custom paint job...yes it is that good

Here is what I did, my car was built on 8/5/08 we took delivery on 9/3/08 and on 9/4/08 first coat of Rejex went on before we took our 1000 mile journey home from the Museum. When I went through the daily car wash (not drive through) the bugs were so easy to get off and once I got our baby home a through washing again and another coat of Rejex, should be good for awhile

The cure time is after you buff it off. You want to let the links harden. If you apply a second coat too soon, you wash the previous coat off.
Apply.
Let dry. It's a polymer so it can sit without ill affect. Liqui-Tech recommends their polymer sit from 15 minutes to over night before buffing off.
Then let it sit for at least 12 hours before you touch it or apply a successive coat.
Same with wait time after last coat application and buff off. Let it sit for at least 8 hours before driving it.

If you use Rejex on your virgin finish it will work better and last longer. If you use it over wax it will only last as long as the wax since it will be removed as the wax wears off. I never wax my car, only use Rejex. As mentioned, it works great on windshields but you have to deal with a little glare.
I clay bar twice a year and Rejex 4 times a year. Other than that it's just a good washing and an Air Force Master Blaster to blow dry.

It's ok to clay bar a brand new finish...i.e. just took delivery of the car...right? When you say let cure overnight...does that mean apply product and let it sit on car overnight then buff off residue next day?
Thanks for the info.

Apply Rejex as directed ( Put on a coat and 15-20 minutes later wipe off ) Then the next day apply another coat. It's just like waxing. I bought it from here
