I did the same thing -- but when it is on it does hide the expensive cargo cover I got with the logo on it........oh, well, that makes the car quieter even if I can't often see it.........

I have the version with the C6 Crossed Flags and I keep it on all the time. However, my hatch window is dark tinted, so you can hardly tell it's there. I also have the .25 dia rod in the hem of the cover. All the flapping while driving with the windows open stoped.---John

uhhh, cargo shade on because I keep my golf clubs and shoes in the car and it's not a pretty sight. btw, I can still put my top in the back if needed.

Some folks will slip a rod (wood or metal?) into the lower seam of the front flap on the cargo shade, the weight keeps the flap from flapping. Downside is that it could spear you in an accident. Someone else put split-shot fishing sinkers on a piece of fish line and threaded it thru the same seam, that eliminates the danger of being speared. I tried it and discovered I need a LOT of sinkers, they made the front of the cargo cover sag and the hatch didn't stay open as well, so I got rid of them. Now, my flap's a flappin' but it hasn't hurt the transparent top yet.

In 11 months I just took mine out of the bag this past weekend. It is a weird looking device and I tried to install it but had no luck. I don't like it. Mine stays in the garage when not being driven, so I have no need to use it. One of the aftermarket ones might be okay.
