As promised, here are the rears.
First, jack the car up and remove the rear wheels. This gives you the clearance you need to drill the holes. Clean the adhesion area with the alcohol wipe:
Then, hold the guards up to the car. The instructions recommend using masking tape to hold them in place, but I found that I was easily able to hold them firmly (key word) in place with one hand, and use my other to drill. Easy as pie. The key is to hold them firmly in place, and make sure they're snugly fit to the contour of the wheel well. When you drill the holes, they look like this:
Then, just follow the same procedure as you did for the front: put them in place with the push pins half in, then pull the tape and secure them, working from the bottom up, pushing the pins in all the way as you go. Pretty simple.
And, when you're all done, they'll look like this:
Now, there are no gaps, BUT there are a few spots where the sticky foam tape can protrude from the seam. You can see that in my pics, where there's a little white in some spots. This is due to the way the foam tape is initially applied to the mudguard, not so much the car. Having said that, I'm not worried about it in the least. Since this stuff is so sticky, it'll attract dirt/dust in no time, and that white stuff will be black
So, there you have it. Hope this helps!

Thanks PAKirk,
Job well done. I've got mine, all I need is my new car to put them on. These have to be the best answer for those who want splash guards.

Since install - they look perfect!!!!! For those of us that like a little protection ~ flow nicely along the contour of the wheel, lending itself to a much more balanced overall appearance...GCA ~ bout sums it up. Thanks for the pics...by the way, don't you know it against forum rules to post pics of a dirty black car!!!!! ...man, whats wrong with you...no dirty black vettes allowed on this forum Great job!

From the pics it doesn't look like the GCA splash guards will offer much protection. Glad I got the Z06 style long splash guards from Apsis.

Right... so, like I said in the first post, trying to keep pics of other splash guards out of this so as not to confuse anyone.
These GCA ones are made to prevent spraying up the side of the car and, for that, they'll do just fine. They don't extend as low as the Apsis ones do, and they don't come out as wide. I'm certainly not knocking the Apsis product at all; if spending $157.50-187.50 per pair is preferable to about $120 shipped for a set of 4 GCA guards, then rock on with your bad self. I'm certainly not going to say you're wrong.
For me, and pretty much everyone else that's buying the product this thread is about, the GCA guards are the right blend of cost, asthetics, and function.

Dammit Man! Now I gotta ditch (maybe) the guards I have now. They are so simple and work well, but the new ones are so much more conforming to the body lines yet not tooo large as some of the others are. !!!!

Thanks for the pics! I sort of wish the rear ones extended down another inch or so (as much to line up with the rear diffuser as for protection), but overall I really like them. Bob at Fichtner Chevy (Forum Sponsor) is selling them for $99 for those that want them ... Can't wait for mine to arrive.

Man those guards look cool..I guess ill have to order a set of these and remove the ones that I installed. Every time I log on to CF I end up spending more money.
Nice pics.

After studying the pics it's interesting to me that the GCA rear splash guards don't attach to the bottom of the car like the Z06 splash guards do. Even on the regular C6 the Z06 splash guards attach to existing mounting points under the car which overlap the rear valance. I would have thought that it would have been easy to make these smaller splash guards attach the same way at the bottom. I suppose that the GCA splash guards don't stick down quite far enough to attach at the bottom.

Yes. It's just double sided foam tape and, while very sticky, you can grab a hold of it and pull it off of the guard if you so desired. My concern with that is that the foam tape also serves as a type of cushioning; without that, you run the risk of the plastic guard rubbing against your paint, possibly creating a visible mark if you ever want to remove them. But yes, it can be removed and discarded.

Thanks for the post, very informative. I also would like to see these on a different color, preferabley Red if there are any forum members with these guards installed or in the process of installing them.
