Default What Did You Sacrifice For Your Z06/C6?

Hey All,

Just curious what some of you are sacrificing so you can own your "dream car"? I know a lot of people here have $$$ and don't have to sacrifice anything...congrats too you.

Are you living in a smaller home? Putting retirement saving on hold for a little while? Not driving that Harley you want?

For me it is putting off some home improvements for a few years. Among other things. Look forward to seeing some responses.

Having kids..

But, worth the wait to spend time with the new wife.

BTW the C6 is far from my "Dream Car" That would be a Lambo Mer. or Enzo but that will come when I retire.

considering one now... it would mean sacrificing another 4 years of my youth (get out at 27 instead of 23) ... and maybe 2 or 3 more deployments during that time. What to do... what to do?

When I made the decision to get my 08 C6, I needed garage space and some cash for the purchase, so I sold my 1968 Z28 Camaro.

The Camaro was fun and got a lot of great comments, but the C6 is phenomenal. Wish I had them both, but that was not going to happen.

A sacrifice? Yeah, but I have lots of smiles now!

I didn't sacrifice anything. Unless you call car payments a sacrifice, but I was doing that anyway. Well worth it. I will pay it off soon.
