They are RPI's "Ultra Chrome" series letters which are flexible and 1/16" thick.

Thanks all for the comments. They really do add that "something is missing here" void. They key to the process is getting the dash really clean. Numerous alcohol passes are needed. Just when you think it's clean enough, clean it again. Adhesive promoter works well too if you have a letter or two that don't want to stick the best. Thanks again !
