Default why did something break, wwwhhyyyy :(

here's a rundown on what the car has
07 C6 with: full exhaust, honker, b&b bullits, mcleod clutch, lingenfelter main shaft, MS3 cam, mickey thompson DR's 295

i decided to try a practice launch

i splashed water all over the ground where i was going to do the burnout

i rolled over into the water and held the revs at 5500 and dumped the clutch

instantly something broke and i could hear a rattling at the front of the car, engine idles fine, clutch pedal feels fine, but the car doesnt move when letting the clutch out

i got out and found a little piece on the ground, about the size of a thumb, that looks exactly like the notch in the front of the torque tube that bolts into the bell housing

any guesses as to what broke and why this happened?

Are you a longtime member who just made up a new username to ask this question so he isnt ridiculed for his actions?

Not sure what it could be but it doesnt sound good.

Good luck!

Don't expect this thread to stay open long if you're talking about a practice launch on the street.

Torque Tube? Couldn't take the torque you laid on it.

Revving to 5500rpm and dumping the clutch is asking for something to break imo. Some of the best launches I have seen at the track and in video here on the forums were at 3500ish rpm.

Good luck though getting everything fixed up, hopefully its not too serious.
