Thanks for the review. I think I will stay with the Goodyear F1 tire. I like the way the F1 tire handles, very stable/no squirm.

Kumho Ecsta SPT
front 245/40ZR18 $132 ea
rear 285/35ZR19 $182 ea
plus shipping etc from Tire Rack

I have 6000 miles on mine now and am very satisfied. As I expected they are not great in snow but do ok in cold and wet. Like any summer compound tire they get hard and more slippery below maybe 40F or so but its a good idea to take it easy in those conditions anyway. I strongly recommend running them at 32psi though instead of 30psi as that seems to make a big improvement in both handling and gas mileage. At 30psi they feel mushy and lose 2mpg. Wear seems very even at those higher pressures.

I had them on my GF's Trans Am a couple years ago and I was VERY impressed by them for what they cost.
