We still haven't had an answer to a key question. Was that 800 HP from a stock LS2?

No, it was a forged bottom end.

There isnt a Corvette anywhere that is putting down 800+rwhp on a stock bottom end.. Its not physically possible.

We see low 600's quite commonly.

My personal run was on 16 psi, 91 octane, and a single stage of alky for safety. (though it was NOT tuned for it)

The 2.8 will run in excess of 25psi.

16lb or 25lb of boost is great but i think stock internals of the engine cant handle that type of boost, forged internals would have to be a must?

You are correct.. I personally wouldnt push a stock block past 9-11psi. But its not the psi you need to be worried about, as much as it is proper tuning.

The stock C6 kit will run north of 600rwhp in STOCK trim.

do you think a good set of headers would ease the stress on the stock engine when adding boost if so what do you recomend? thanks

Not so much ease the stress on the block. But it will DEFINATELY ease in the efficiency on the blower. Remember: its not just about shoving the cylinder full of air/fuel. Its about getting as much of the exhaust out, and cooling the cylinder at the same time. If you dont get it out in time, you've got a contaminated cylinder.

Personally, I ONLY do 1 7/8's or larger on ANY F/I.

So headers wouldn't come in with the blower kit?

I can't wait to see these KB kits. 600rwhp will be crazy with a stock kit. I would be happy with just reaching 500rwhp.

Do you still need measurements from the MCM supercharger hood?

I have one on my car, it is the red 05 C6 convertible on their site.
