I would be careful with the A6.............I know of 3 that have let go around 550 rwhp. I also know 2 people that have lost their supercharged LS2s (stock bottom end) within the last week (550-600 rwhp).
Some people can never have too much power, but I'm done.
I hope KB is serious this time, they make a good product (I gave up on them).....good luck

Yea, I agree, 550-600 is as about as far as one would COMFORTTABLY want to go on a stock bottom end. At least I would..
I appologize that the KB has taken soo long. But I assure ou, your frustrations have been heard LOUD and clear. And they have no longer been taken lightly.

I agree. I don't care what HPT realeased for the A6, the internals are still the same. With 600hp its just a matter of time...... with drag slicks, probably a very short time.
Is that on a "stock" LS2 engine??
Also,,would a hood such as Mine work with the K/B?
Thanks!
800 RWHP on a stock LS2 Engine?
For maybe 30 minutes; then you would have an aluminum grenade under the hood detonate!
That kind of rwhp would require a forged bottom end; upgraded drivetrain (clutch, transmission, rear differential, half shafts etc) for any long term reliability.
Even on the stock LS3 engines; most reputable tuners are capping rwhp at 500 to maintain the integrity of the engine and drivetrain with stock cast internals.

Yea but now a company such as RPM can build a stronger tranny with new internals and have the tuning sofward to make the needed upgrades.
Have 06 z51 mn6 (Have bullets exhaust and intake though, so not completely stock), that is close to LA(driving distance that is), so if another test car is needed..... I would want it tuned down to 500rwhp though for reliability reasons.
