New coupe, thanks to all.
I just want to express my appreciation for everyone that contributes to the forum. By sitting on the sidelines and absorbing the experience of others I was confident in selecting the options for my 2008 Coupe; Crystal Red, Z51, MN6, 3LT, and forged aluminum chrome wheels. I picked the car up on June 10 from Tim at Boardwalk Chevrolet in Redwood City, CA. I was seriously considering two different vehicles, the C6 and the Prius, both cars do what they were designed for very well. So instead of going with miles per gallon I decided on smiles per gallon . I also thought it would be a good way to help ward of the onset of middle age(I'm 68). Thanks everyone, the C6 is i big improvement over my 1999 Coupe. I wish I had something to contribute to the forum. Keep the rubber side down.

Congratulations on your new C6!
As for you having something to contribute to the forum...you do. The forum is only good because people do contribute...they share their experiences, expertise, information, questions, opinions, etc. Lurkers do nothing to make the forum a better place...they only take. Give something...your input is important and valuable.

Congrats on your new CRM Coupe.
Although I may have frost on the roof, the fire has not gone out in the hearth--I'm 66 and loving our Vette.

Reading your post contributes a lot to lot's of us.
I have a coupe very similar to your on order and hearing others making a purchase brings a smile to my face.
Congratulations and hope to exchange waves some day.

At first I was concerned that the Z51 suspension would be too firm, but I find it somewhat softer than the "Comp" mode selection I was running on my C5. It tracks "real" nice in a turn, the C5 would jump around even when I was running non-runflats. I write software for research aircraft and would really like to see the source code for all the processors on the C6, I'm really impressed with the integration of all the systems. The C6 slows nicely when one lifts from the throttle, my C5 had an A/T and just wanted to keep going.
