An update....

I have wheel part numbers, but no pricing yet. Will keep you updated.

Calipers will sell in the $500 range each, so the conversion will be less than the anticipated prices listed here.

I'm working on all of this stuff for you guys!
Thanks Gene. Are you checking to see if anything else is differnent like the master cylinder, hubs, etc.? I've heard that for carbon ceramic all of things need to change because of the added heat generated.

Disturbing news about the brakes.. WOW.. ok.. so the calipers will be only around $500 each, but WOW!!... the rotors will be around $1200 or $1300 each! You will have to find an alternative to the rotors or be prepared to spend the $$$

So you're saying a full set of calipers and rotors will run $7K?

It is only about a thousand more than a Bembo GT kit. Not bad considering they are ceramic rotors.

Gene, Those prices are not that bad. The weight savings of the new rotors are about as impressive as price hehe

Todd,

Yes, unfortunately... and that is with a major discount... probably $10K to $11k retail, LOL.

Would have to check out more things... about sizing and all, but I wonder if the Z06 rotors are the same size? You could use ZR1 calipers and Z06 rotors?

I wonder what the price of the pads is? I'll hae to check..

Thanks, Gene.

The ZR1 (Ferrari Enzo FX) rotors are 15.5-inch-diameter (Z06 14") in the front and 15-inch-diameter (Z06 13.4") in the rear.

The calipers are bigger, as are the new 1 piece pads.

Gene, is there a price on the ZR1 wheels yet? I think for next ear, I will treat myself to set of C6 ZR1 wheels and Carbon Ceramic Brakes for the street - and use a nice Coleman iron rotor/aluminium hat 14" setup for the track.
