I've never used a VT10, but Bobz08C6 told me:
"It is a two button unit. The left button is for Schrader/Siemens TPMS's and the right button is for Lite-on/Beru/TRW/Pacific/Lear TPMS's."
Our C6 sensors (and, to my knowledge, all GM sensors) are made by Schrader. In that case you'll use the left button on your VT10.

Those sensors that require the right button are all on vehicles made by other manufacturers.

You'll put the C6 into the "learn mode" just as when you use any other tool - check out one of the videos using any other tool and, after putting the car into the learn mode, you'll use the VT10 exactly the same as you can see the other type of tool being used in the video below.

On my CTS-V I put it in learn mode and let some air out of the tires. I guess I'll order one of these for the Vette and it will save me some time on the V also.

As BEZ06 states, just put the car in learn mode and use the LEFT button only. Push and hold for about 5 seconds until you hear a horn chirp. I got a one page instruction with mine. You could ask ATEQ to e-mail you one or I could scan mine and attach it to a post.

Attach it to a post if you would. I got mine today without instructions. I have 2 buttons on mine, what are they for? Does the Tx light light up when you push any of the buttons?

ATEQ VT10 is what I got.

Do you get a light lit when you push any of your 2 buttons? I see an LED labeled Tx and thought that it would light up when I pushed a button.

I put the battery in, push either button and no light. I guess I got a bad unit? I will have to contact them for a return I guess.

Also, if you go to your Hoosiers before they are mounted on the car, can you check to see if the unit is sensing the TPMS sensors while they are still off the car? I guess the unit should get a beep if it senses them? I got some pre owned track wheels that supposedly have the TPMS sensors installed and I just need to verify they are working.

As BEZ06 states use the left button only for the Vette. Push and hold until you hear a horn chirp. The right button is for sensors used on other cars. I have the VT10 as well as it works just fine on the Corvette.

I'll scan and post the instruction sheet this evening. I'm driving my Vette to work today (although I'm retired).

Here is the cover sheet I got with my ATEQ VT-10 TPMS relearn tool. The tool is such a no-brainer it doesn't really need any instructions other then wheather to use the left or right button LEFT button for our Corvettes.

Put car in learn mode, push left button for about 5 seconds until you hear a horn chirp, move to next tire. The TX led illuminates to indicate that a signal is being transmitted from the tool. Aim through the tire at the stem and NOT through the metal wheel.

Had a bad tool. Just got the replacement tool today. They shipped me a new one as long as I provided a tracking number for the return shipment of the bad tool. I will check it out tomorrow.
