Default Texas "Corvette Dealer" ???

I was thinking of trading in my current vehicle on a '08 Vette. I am now in Austin, Tx and I do not know of any Chevy New Car Dealers that "specialize" in Vettes. I am from GA, and in GA Maxie Price was the known "Corvette Dealer" in the state. They had the most inventory in stock as well as the best prices around. Wondering if there was a similar dealer in Tx?

Thanks!

Hewlit in Georgetown. Located off of IH-35 at Westinghouse road.

They have several in stock. Ask for Carlos B. and he should give you $900 under GSU or Supplier price. This is what he quoted me however, I purchased from a forum dealer and got museum delivery instead.

Carlos was good to deal with and is the Corvette guy at the dealership...his manager just wouldn't let him deal price much in the beginning. If he'd just offered me the 900 under GSU in the beginning, I'd bought from him. However, we went back and forth till a forum dealer made me a deal I couldn't refuse...1900 under GSU.

After I placed my order is when Carlos gave me the deal of 900 under GSU. So start there on all in stock cars. Good luck, I'll get mine next week.

I bought from Champion on 183, easier to deal with than Hewlitt. Save yourself some driving if you are going to buy an in stock car, use gmbuypower to check inventories at Austin Dealers.

Lewis Chevrolet in Canton, TX. You buy directly from the owner. Straight talking, no BS type guy. Even get a silver dollar when you buy a vette from him.

I tried Hewitt in Georgetown. Drove 170 miles to trade in my Mustang, price already decided via email and description. When I arrived they had the vette out and ready to show me. Well, it was filthy, even the engine compartment was filthy with dirt. They told me it was not demoded before arriving that it had 2 or 3 miles on the car. It had 38 miles. I got in the car started the engine. Idle had a misfire. I told the salesman that I could feel a misfire at 1200-1400 rpm holding steady. He immediately got in the car and revved it to about 5000+ rpm and told me it was like GM sent it to them. Not exactly what I like to see done to a new car, engine still cold.

Was that ever a long ride for nothing!

Sounds like a forum dealer is your best bet ! With 1900 under GSU why go elsewhere unless they can beat it ?

Good Luck !

you might want to work with a forum vendor and do the NCM delivery for an super experience. get what you want and a neat tour as well.

if not, check GM web site for TX dealers and then see what they have in stock. its at least a starting point.

good luck!

Another vote for Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine. Talk with Mike Carnes on the Internet sales staff.

I was suprised to see the good word on Classic Chev in Grapevine. They treated my very poorly.

Go my 08 from Young Chev in Dallas. Very pleased with all aspects of the deal. Call Ralph DeFulio 800-893-2319.

Classic is where I bought my hubby's vette. It was the best experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. I live in Cypress(suburb of Houston) and I did everything by phone. And I got a fantastic deal on the car, as well. They went out of their way to make me happy.

I also vote for Classic Chevrolet. I purchased mine there. I was lucky enough to deal with Steve. They are the largest seller of Chevrolets in the country. That being said, they have a pretty good selection of Corvettes.

I got mine at Classic in Grapevine as well. Lewis Chevrolet in Canton has a good reputation too.
