Pretty sure that was Kilometers per hour. But I could be wrong!

Upon further review...that wasn't the HUD display I was looking at...so I WAS WRONG!

Couldn't get any more out of it?

That would be a great experience, driving the track.

I'd be surprised if that was 180 mph. What's more surprising...he wasn't wearing a helmet.

It's on the Corvette Racing website as well, I don't see why they would lie about it.

Quite a ride, seemed pretty relaxed like a drive in the park.

I've had my '07 vert showing 174 on the HUD on a superspeedway, and there was still a little bit left. 180 MPH is easy to believe.

That would be so much fun to do!! Seemed like he had to dump a bunch of speed for the corners though........makes you appreciate how much downforce the real race cars generate to go through the corners flat out...............there's one time on the video when he very quickly dumps a bunch of speed from 180 to 120 while entering the corner, and I was surprised that the rear end stayed put......nice video, and thanks for sharing it with us..........

That's normal driving with the top down on the autobahn.

I did 143 in my vert in 5th gear with lots of room left. Top up, of course...don't want to lose what little hair I have left!
