I'm in a similar boat as you are, essentially trying to decide between an 07 or 08. In getting opinions from many here on the forum, they all suggest to get an 08 as the prices are coming way down, plus the many improvements on the 08 can justify a slightly higher price over an 07.
Good luck!! I am still searching for my 08.....I can't wait!!

Greetings
I have both a 2007 vert and a 08 coupe. The choice would be easy for me. The 2007 vert would be my choice. I can not tell that much difference in performance. The vert is more fun to drive, and has more power than one would ever need.
all the best.

Engine and steering upgrades are a good reason for 08 besides additional value. Does the 08 have NPP? That would definitely make me get the 08.
You need to decide if you want a Vert or coupe though. Both are excellent cars. I went with a coupe for safety factors and I'll take the top off a coupe in Utah more then roll the top back on a Vert.

2008 for sure. A newer model year is always good. I like convertibles but only in nice weather, so that cuts down on the months I can drive one. Verts are gorgeous with the top down but I don't care for the top-up look. Good luck with your choice; either would be extremely nice, no doubt.
