ALRIGHT!!!This is getting ridiculous
I have a 08 Pace Car that was built on 4/28/08 and haven't recieved it yet, 200 miles from BG. How long was your wait from build date to dealer delivery on a C6 you ordered? I'm begining to think that they lost mine, or it fell off the truck somewhere!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, that does seem a bit long. But I'm sure it won't be long now.

Well other than the fact that it may or may not have been built on that date but maybe May 2, you have been waiting awhile.
What does your dealer say?

But if it definately was built (on the date indicated) and allocated to your dealer, he is now paying for it. I believe GM's respective divisions bill the dealer for the vehicle after a certain number of days (allowing time for transit, type/model and import requirements).

Hopefully GM didn't start using Fed Ex or UPS Did you see the last post on these guys! If this was the case your car's probably sitting in the shipping hub near Barrows Alaska Sorry couldn't resist, here's hoping your Car shows up soon, Just imagine how long it would take getting to Hawaii Salt

For what it's worth, I'm sure you'll be happy with the way this year's pace car looks. Hopefully your wait is almost over!

Your car left the plant today and should arrive by tommorow.
Just so everyone knows Bob had a bad time with another dealer. We received his deposit for his pace car on 04-25 and his car should arrive on 05-20 that is less than 4 weeks for delivery.

What? You sent your money in less than a month ago, and they (the dealer) essentially pulled a car that's already ordered, and your complaining that it's not gotten to you?

I don't know the normal time frame, but it has been, what, only 4 weeks or so. Doesn't sound so bad to me, but then, again, I am not the one waiting!! Hope it arrives soon for you.

Mine took about 8 days from end of build to dealer. Took delivery 3 days later.
But if it definately was built (on the date indicated) and allocated to your dealer, he is now paying for it. I believe GM's respective divisions bill the dealer for the vehicle after a certain number of days (allowing time for transit, type/model and import requirements).

It is probably in the quality quarantine area awaiting a an engine or transmission replacement...
