Default Wheels and Wax

I have an 08 coupe with the stock wheels/rims. The rims get dirty right after I clean them. What can I use on the wheels/rims to resist the dirt and look good for a longer period of time?

Do you recommend a quick detailer (Meguires) between waxing to keep the car looking good? Any other recommendation for between waxes. I usually wax every six (6) months.

I use Mothers all wheel spray and that does the trick for me. Others have put Rejex on the wheels, and a host of other products, but for a simple OTC solution Mothers does it, just make sure it is the all wheel spray.

I use meguires quick detail as often as needed and wax about every 3months. I just tried They new meguires line. Used the Scratch X, then meguires polish then the NXT 2.0 polymer wax. Even tried it on the stock polished rims made them shine. (no scratch X on the rims though)

Default Wheels

I like to use Rejex on the wheels. I simply wipe them down with a dry microfiber rag every other day or so....really easy.

You can try all of the above OR change to ceramic pads - and it's done. You can't imagine (until doing it) what a huge difference in brake dust reduction that will make.

I'm going to be using motorcycle wash on the chrome wheels. It gets the bikes clean so it should do the trick on the Corvette.

I used Rejex on my wheels. Two coats on every surface of the rim including the barrels. Very easy to keep clean after using Rejex.

Rejex here as well.
Started using it on our '88 and the '01 not just the wheels but also on the paint
on the '01 Quick Silver nothing really makes the color pop...
But on the Bright Red of my '88 ( just sold) it was impressive...

Use a sealant versus a wax, as the heat will reduce the wax immediately. We offer three products, the DP version has a light cleaner and sealant, and Poorboys offers a pure sealant.

Be careful spraying wheel cleaner on your calipers and brake pad area. I use the eagle one stuff and it dissolves the putty that keeps my pads from vibrating during braking. and hence, generates that annoying squealing sound when braking. I spray it on a brush and scrub the wheels now.

Yes, seems to work well for me, those bugs are a lot easier to get off the glass.

Anyone use it on the clear roof panel? I never can keep that thing clean enough...
