congrats on a great car. I too am looking, but have not pulled the trigger yet.

One question, why didnt you take the photo from the other side of the car where the sun is? I noticed you were on the shadow side of the car, and that would have shown the paint better. Dont you think?

Default Almost did the same thing

I was in having the new exhaust put on my 07, and having a couple of little things done, the change in fluid in the rear differential, a rub in the dash......... so I decide to wait.

They had one of the Cooksey 427s on the show room floor next to a 67 427, and I couldn't believe my eyes. That is the best looking Corvette I have seen to date. The red is perfect, I like the titanium insets in the seats, and the chromed wheels set the red off very nicely.

Unfortunately, I only have 7000 miles on my 07, and there is no way for me to justify dropping 50 grand on a move up. (once you throw in California's 8.25% tax plus license)

So, I'll just envy you!! Congratulations. Wonderful choice.

I was getting a picture of my friend next to the car. I had no idea I was buying it. My friend, his wife, my wife, another friend all worked on me all day long. They knew it was the right car for me. I finally made the decision an hour after I got home.

Thats a great story. Happy for you.

Whenever I go to Carlisle and I see all of the Grand Sports lined up, I think, "man what it must be like to be among those owners of that very special Corvette."

And now yours, one of 427 WC editions. Awesome. Like I say, when they describe these things before they come out, this and the Ron Fellows before it, I think "ho hum". But when they come out, and people get their hands on them, well, I envy you.

BTW, I know you must have mentioned it, but what number is it again?

Outstanding, I loved this Vette from the first time I saw one.

Can't justify the cost, since I only have 4000 mi on my 07.

Did I tell you I hate you???

Enjoy it...............and oh yeah, don't forget to change your avatar.

Congrats!! That is one beautiful car. Took delivery of my VR coupe about 3 weeks ago at the NCM. During my plant tour I saw at least 5 Cookseys being built. I had the honor of starting one for the first time. The interior is gorgeous. Who knows, I might have started yours for the first time! I forgot to get the # of the car I was in. Enjoy the ride. My congratulations on a fine automobile! Glad someone is still helping stimulate the economy.

Beautiful car - please post a picture in the sun once you pick her up.
