Default How many previous or current Camaro owners...

I was wondering how many current or future C6 owners previously, or currently owned, or own, a Camaro/Firebird, or for that matter, a Nova, or a Chevelle. If so, how many and what years? How many tri 5's would be interesting too. Who are the Chevy guys and gals on the Forum?

Well...never had a Camaro, but close...had a 2000 Trans-Am, and later a 2002 Firehawk. So I did spend some time in the F-body camp.

A camaro? Don't you mean "how many camaros' have you owned"? I'm embarassed to say how many f-bodies...maybe a dozen. At least one of every generation, except a '69. 4 mustangs starting with a '99 cobra, '08 gt convert next to the vette right now. The '08 would be a camaro convert if one was available.

Have a 350 '69 in the garage that I haven't cranked in about 20 years. Bought brand new in Anniston, Alabama. I also bought new a 1967 LeMans that I turned into a sleeper with a brand new 1967 GTO 6.5L engine. Those were the days. Used to fill up the Pontiac when in Ft. Bragg with about $5 and change.

I owned a 1996 red vert, a 1998 silver vert and I purchsed a 2002 red coupe for my son as a high school graduation gift when he got out of the AF Acadamy (no longer in the AF), he still has that one, all were 6 cyl.

I had a 99 z28 m6 coupe. With just pulley, cutout, whisper lid, ported throttle body, and free mods, I made 330rwhp/340rwtq! Car ran 12.8@110

G.M. takes way too long to bring new cars to the showroom. I've read so much about the new Camaro, seen it, and the fake one, at the shows. The car almost seems old now. The Camaro should have been ready to go right after the Transformer movie. My 2001 Camaro was 7 years old with almost 125,000 mi on it when I bought my 08 Vette. The Vette was kind of, the only choice, but I couldn't be happier.

I had a black 1980 for 18 yrs. 305 V8 / 4sp. Sold it with less than 50k, all original except the exhaust. That car was mint, I don't want to talk about it any more.

I drove an 88 iroc as my dd for several years but I got rid of it when the engine went. If the woman permits I will someday have another.

We are a Chevy family all the way with 1 or 2 exceptions way back.

Before our C6, we have owned 3 Camaros, 1 Nova, 2 Chevelles, a C3 Corvette, several Chevy trucks, a Tahoe, a Blazer. Nothing but bow-ties in our garage now.

Hubby wants a new Camaro, if, indeed, they ever show up for sale. The big event will be anticlimactic at this point. Almost tired of hearing about it.

My friends and family say I should regret selling my 59 Vette, they might, but I don't.
