Yesterday in Chicago was beautiful. Took the Vert out for a quick ride to run some errands. I was stopped at a traffic light; a guy in a Nissan pickup truck was turning from a side street. As he pasted in front of me, he tipped this cap and smiled. Just as good as a wave in my book.

I always wave but sometimes I get the "no wave back stare". to cool to wave back i guess

I have to say that I believe those around this area that don't wave just didn't see me, it happens to me as well if I'm pre-occupied at the time.

On my first cruise after purchasing my Vette, I was taking a corner where there was this gorgeous Black C5 stopped, he saw me and gave me a big thumbs-up. It was a good feeling.

Yes I wave to other vette drivers all the time. Some return the wave some don't. Heck I even wave at XLR drivers.

I wave all the time - few wave back, but I still do it anyway. It's being friendly and being part of the Corvette community. It's not annoying in any way, unless you're waving your middle finger.

If someone waves first then I will, we went to Ventura last weekend and had zero waves out of 20 cars.

I have to admit that I get a kick out of those "too cool to wave" guys that try to act like they aren't even seeing my bright, victory red Vette near them and stare straight ahead! Funny dudes. Sad, yet funny.
I even started waving at other Vettes when I'm not in mine. I get a driver/owner/waver once in a while who smiles big and seems to "get it" that I'm one of us, just in the wrong vehicle momentarily!!

I always wave if possible (window open; not passing each other at a combined 150) and nearly always get one in return.

Just returned from a 1200 mile trip...waved at every Vette I saw. Kinda hard to see if they waved back or not...but who cares...I'll keep waving anyway!
