Congrats on the new Z!
Either set of rims would look great! If you are going for a sinister/wicked look, IMO the glossy black tims will give you that look...

Congrats.
I guess I'll cast the lone vote for the grey wheels. I've never been a fan of the all black look.

Yep..I bought my first corvette in Oct 2006 at 24 years old...
a 2007 Silver c6 Coupe.
I absolutely loved this car and it was sooooo hard to trade it in but I had to do it.
and now in May 2008 at 26 years old I bought my black 2008 z06.
It comes with OEM z06 chrome wheels but I think I will be switching them out with OEM z06 Comp Gray's or an all black Z06 OEM wheel (powder-coated black)
Can't decide...

Riddle me this, Batman:
If you were 24 in October of 2006, that would mean you were 25 in October of 2007.That means you'd be 26 in October of 2008, right?
That means your birthday has to be October, November, or December of the year.
Assuming that to be true, how is it only May of 2008 and you're already 26?
Shouldn't you turn 26 in or AFTER October?
I think there's either a typo, or strange things are happening at the Circle K.
(I get it, I'm just busting your chops.)
On a more serious note, it looks like you bought the car from that Domani Motors up on Dixie Highway. They always have nice looking cars out on the front porch. (Lambos, Bentleys, etc...)

I've often wondered how well that place does.
Enjoy the car and don't listen to the people are jealous because you have a ZO6 at 25-26. They wish they could have one, even though they're 50.
It's not like everyone can have a dad to buy them a car.
Just kidding. (Sorry, I couldn't resist.)

26 is a great age to have that car. Do yourself a favor and sign up for a Bonduraunt or Spring Mountain course. They will teach you how to properly control that beast.

awesome car
The black wheels are the way to go. Did you see the pic on CF where a vendor has those forged black wheels with a narrow red rim. They might look nice on your car
Hey, as far as age goes, I have not seen a pole but, I'd say 26 is way below the average age of a corvette owner. Probably more like 60, would you say.
I am sure when buy my C6, being 58, the women will look at the car.not my ugly azz.
They will be looking at both in his case. Congratulations! HAve fun!
You are only young once.

Believe it or not...I'm actually paying less per month on the 2008 Z then I was paying for the 2007 c6. A chevrolet dealer in miami killed me on price + financing + waranties + gap on my first vette but I learned from the best (you guys at the forums) and got into an amazing price on the 08 + free warranties + free Gap
Believe it or not..I work extremely hard for everything...I have a marriage to deal with soon (been together 9 years) I have a house, 2 other cars (daily drivers) + the z06 (weekend veichle), our 4 kids (chihauhuas), all our bills etc. I'm not just some kid that lives at home, I work hard and I'm very thankful for everything in my life.
I've seen these topics before and lets not go here. I'm very mature for my age.
I'm glad I went into the c6 first so now I can respect the power of the z. I think every owner should be in a c6 first to learn the ropes and feel of the vette and then jump to the Z so then you can really see the difference and you'll be prepared.
