If you like it, put it on. If you ask for opinions and you base how you customize your car on whether some bystander likes it or not, you'll never be happy.
The only person that needs to be happy is the one who paid the bill.

If it makes you happy, you should have one.
I had a Corvetteforum.com banner across the top of the windshield on my C5 for a while.
I was headed to a track event at Kershaw several years ago, followed by my son in his Viper GTS. When I got home, someone who had seen us when we stopped for gas, signed up for the Forum and posted a thread saying they had seen us getting off the Interstate and wondered what was up.

I know it's hard to tell but I actually did it myself.
Actually, if you look to the top of the windshield you'll see a very small 'banner' which says www.21stcenturymusclecars.com. That's it...small but tasteful. I thought the huge LINGENFELTER banner is just a bit too much...I don't have to knock people over the head with it...they pretty much get the idea when they hear the car.

Some people here ask how to take off all the badges so they can be more stealthy. Some people, like the OP, want to shout "CORVETTE" from the rooftops. That's OK there is room for both. Personally I take the middle road and leave the badging stock (even though my car is far from stock appearance wise...)
