Help I can't get in
Ok after having the car sitting for a couple months my battery is dead. I put the key in the trunk and it won't open the trunk. How do I get in? Please help ASAP.

If the key won't work, you have a real problem. I don't know if the rear key cylinder can be popped out or if another key might work.
Your dealer should get involved in this ASAP. Good luck.

The key turns to the right and nothing. To left if I turn to hard I might break the key. I have a call into the dealer as I am out of warranty by like a month. I was finally going to clean her up but she is dead in my garage. I thought I read a thread about poping a light out in 2005 but I did that??? Even a hidden hood latch I could atleast charge the battery and use my clicker, anyone?

If the car is a convertible as in your profile, then this is strictly a mechanical issue and has nothing to do with the battery. If you are looking UP at the lock from the ground, the key should be turned 1/4 turn clockwise. If the trunk won't open, then have someone wiggle it up and down while turning the key. Or put something soft under the lip and pull up on it as the key is turned. Again, it can't have anything to do with the battery. Good luck and let us know...

We need to know if he is talking about a convertible (it is a vert in his profile) because if it is a vert, then he has no 'hatch' and there is nothing electric about the trunk opening with the key, its just a mechanical linkage.

It might be the tumblers are just a little froze up from disuse. Take some WD40 with the little plastic tube attachment and spray some into the key opening. It might be enough when you work the key around to make the lock work..... Done it more than once with a lock cylinder that wouldn't turn....
