Insurance cost on your C6?
I'm curious what everybody pays on their insurance for 6 months. I paid 500 for my first 6 months. 2 drivers in our 20s and absolutely no tickets or points whatsoever. I get my new rate and it went up 180 6 months later and the car is a year older Flat out pissed off about it. Let me know what you're paying, I'd appreciate it.

that may not be bad. I was paying those kind of rates in my 20's. Mine went down a bit when I turned 30. Plus, a lot of these guys have these things on really low mileage plans. Lots of factors. Plus, they may not have good coverage. I pay more but I have great coverage. What everyone needs to do is post up all of their coverage then we would be comparing apples to apples.

Interesting how this same topic is generated on all car forums about all cars. But one thing that is not stated by anyone, "WHAT IS THE FULL COVER LIMITS"? Liability, collision, theft, medical, comprehensive, glass coverage, deductible, etc. etc. All these change the rate in each catagory. For example, mine is .....
300,000, 500,000, no deductible glass coverage, $500 deductible for everything else. $10,000 medical, rental rider (they MUST pay for a similar car). I have no acccidents (ever) and no tickets. 2 cars, house and an umbrella with same company. Vette is $323 every 6 months.
If I changed to the $1000 deductible I would cut $62 off.

I bought a Land Rover for my son, thus four cars for three drivers and my total insurance for the vette and 3 other cars went down. Thus the answer is go buy a beater of a car and insure it to the minimum and save.

I'm 20, and I'm paying 199$ a month with decent coverage. No tickets no wrecks. 3 cars. Also; Scream and Fly, why is it a 20 year old college student cant have a well paying job and live in a decent place and also afford his insurance? I do.

Hmm, lemme think about that. I went to college and worked two very well paying jobs, but I just don't think it would have been possible to buy a $40,000 car and pay insurance in addition to my other [college] expenses. Doesn't matter to me either way, but get real.
