Mine does the same thing cold - it's very annoying... Once warm, the transmission is very smooth.

Same here. When warm works great. Had a post a couple of days ago. search cold clutch if you want.

Same here . . .shifts resistant when cold out 30-40 degrees, and car not warm yet.

Much better after warming.

All cars need to warm up. Some are faster than others. On a Vette it takes a good 15 min at moderate speeds to warm up engine oil and tranny fluid. Just an engineering/physics fact. My previous car a 911/C4 used to warm up slightly faster due to the fact that the engine and transaxle are connected.
