[QUOTE=RocketV;1564616909]The overall silhouette is nice, but some of the details are forced. The gills on the front fenders are cool, but the contour of the fender itself makes the door look terribly out of place with the sharp crease lines. The contour of the nose is awesome, but the nostrils are a blatant and unnecessary copy of a Ferrari F430. The fake diffuser tunnels in the rear also seem forced and would look great if they were true tunnels and not big black panels. The swoop of the rear fenders is great and the high rear end adds to the exotic look. The flying buttresses on the rear deck are, like the nostrils, a blatant and unnecessary copy of another car, a Porsche Carrera in this instance. The round gas filler door is great and the lack of side mirrors is okay as long as there are cameras somewhere to give you a view in traffic.
I'm not a hater, just a designer. My profession is one of those that many people think they can do with no education or training and it usually shows. In this case they created a great overall look, but not not a great car design, when basic design principals are applied.

Thanks for your feedback. Let me respond to some of your points.
1) the contour of the fender itself makes the door look terribly out of place with the sharp crease lines...
Well then everyone at GM must not know what they are doing because you see the crease lines on the doors of the C-6 . I believe that at some point as a designer you must create some balanced on the car lines if all of the sudden ones start trowing arched lines all over the car it winds up looking like a banana. just take a look at mos sports cars with agressive arched fenders at some point they have strait sharp lines going in the midle of the car to create balanced at list that is my point of view as a young designer and my point of this was to sharpen the lines on this car more then the C-6 you would have to see this car in person to see how all my lines are well conected not lazy lines.
2)the nostrils are a blatant and unnecessary copy of a Ferrari F430.
ON the F430 those nostrils might be unecesary on the this car they are very practical for the radiator and breaks they have a special ram air that sends the air for the radiator and for the brakes. and the inspiration to that design come from the c-3 stingrays not ferrari.
3)The fake diffuser tunnels in the rear also seem forced and would look great if they were true tunnels and not big black panels.
they are not fake difussers they look like they are beacuse they are painted black and they real and very practical.
4) The flying buttresses on the rear deck are, like the nostrils, a blatant and unnecessary copy of another car, a Porsche Carrera in this instance.
Well we wanted to remove the heavy glass hatch of the car for weight reduccion this car will be mostly all carbon fibre and we will have diferent performance options. we want this car not to only look good but performed good as well so weight reduccion was in our list. the alternative for those humps seemed logical for us to still give room for people to put their lodge in the trunk plus with those humps it reduces the amount of space you see in the back of the car ones the glass hatch is out that would look like a camino with a huge trunk. This is just the prototype we will have 3 diferent hatch options for people to choose from. The inspiration for the those humps were from the 59 concept stingray ..

Yes there is cameras on the car but for produccion we will have mirrors as well, this is just the concept .
Overall i thank you very much for your constructive critisism i am glad you brought up this points so i could explain people why somethings were done on this car the way they are. Is never easy to take an existing product and make it look better or good as the original. In this case i wanted to create a new version of the 69 stingray not going into retro more make it look like modern version of it. I at might be a young designer but i did go to school of design..
AGAIN THANKS ALOT.
PLEASE SHOW US SOME OF YOUR WORK IN HERE IT WILL BE NICE TO SEE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE.
Here is a pic of the sketch together with the car.
THANKS EVERYONE FOR THEIR FEEDBACK..

Excellent responses to my points. I still disagree about the doors, though. Your point about GM doesn't take into account that the fenders of the stock C6 match up to the contours of the doors so they don't look out of place. If you could re-skin the doors to match the smoothness of your panels I think it would do wonders for the overall look, making it seem more "of a piece"(think Audi). I take your point about the banana, and the upper crease flows into your fender, but the lower crease in the door is out of place.
I also bet that you could come up with something more dramatic for the "nostrils" without making them look like a copy of another car. I do like the existing ones better, though, knowing that they are functional.
Lets call my analysis of the rear deck bumps objective vice subjective and put it down to opinion. If you look, however, they don't fit in with the flowing, sinister lines of the rest of your panels. Besides: luggage, schmuggage. Ooorrr, you could design a set of custom luggage to fit in the trunk... Something in color-matched leather (or carbon fiber) with your logo on it...
I failed to comment on your tail light treatment, which looks great and has a nice technical look.
Thanks for posting your work and taking my comments good-naturedly. Keep in mind that the majority of posts have been positive, and I think you will sell a bunch of cars. While I am a designer, I specialize in furniture and watch winders, so no cars to show you. keep in mind, though, that basic design principles can be applied anywhere and will almost always show the best forms.
Any pics of the interior?
