Default AW Becoming a Force on the Forum

There appears to be a much larger AW influence on the Forum lately. I see vendors coming up with AW specific mods where they were not there before. There are more AW threads than before. The other color guys are in these threads saying that they would consider an AW next time. There appears to be more AW members. Not bad for 5%+ of the install base. White on!

I like the Arctic White.

You really dont see a whole lot of them out on the street so when you do, it stands out. Its a very striking color for a vette!

Took me awhile to figure out what AW even meant, so it is not too popular yet!

My first vette was white, but I don't think I'm ready for another one yet.

I got it but I admit...it took me a few seconds.

I actually see several white C6's around Tucson. Maybe it's because of the extreme sunshine and heat here but for whatever reason, I see them fairly often.

White wasn't my choice but I like them....my oldest son loves the white C6...he likes white wheels on them...that 'Euro' look.

Since you asked. Never had a white car or truck, never will... If life was perfect, every vehicle I owned or will own would be black, but it's not and their not.

I have noticed the increase also. It is a great color on a Vette. Easy to keep , and the paint is more durable than the metallics and tint coats. IMHO

I had a torch red C5. When I bought my C6 it came down to AW or AO... Went with AW because it was a little more classy/refined. I waffled after my order during production , but after living with it I am really happy that I went with AW... The white really accents the lines of the car, it looks refined, and it is non common.

You are right there are a lot of AW (Attention *****) threads in C6. I believe this might be one.

On the other hand, despite the book "All Corvettes are Red", in 1953, all Corvettes were actually white!

A lot of company cars and fleet vehicles are white but not too many Corvettes. I wonder why.
