Make sure you still buy your own microfiber wash mitt to bring with you. Tell them not to use it on the wheels. They use the same mitts all day and they are loaded with brake dust which is sometimes worse than the conventional drive thru washes.

Be careful! I've watch some hand wash outfits reuse their wash and dry towels all day long. They are filthy and full of dirt. IMO it's not worth the risk unless you personally know different.

How about Mr. Wash next to the McDonalds on 123 near Madison High School. I think they do it both ways.
The gas station next to the 7-11 and Arthur Treachers at Fairfax Circle always had the manual car wash where you do it yourself. There are do it yourself places also in Manassas. One is on 28 behind el Taco near Manassas Park. Also, near O'Meara Restaurant (Mike O'Meara) in old town Manassas. Just some options.
Dr. Wash, used to be named Suds, is in Centreville and they detail cars. They are on 29, across from the bowling alley. They are primarily a traditional machine car wash though, but it does a really nice job. I take my Trailblazer through there all the time.
You know, there are several outfits that have the mobile equipment and will come to your house or your office to wash and detail by hand. And, it is usually pretty cheap.

When I moved to NoVa in 1996, I searched and searched for a hand wash place, but never found one.
Good luck!
