Do you like all aspects of your C6's styling? One day I love them the next I don't

I love the C6Zs... but the C6s are an on/off thing for me. I can't get over how flat the sides of the car look in some angles. The C6Z body panels fix this, but that's not really part of this discussion.
I see pictures like this below, and don't like the car at all...
But then I see something like this...
And I think it looks awesome... thoughts? I guess it's all in the stance.

The lines on the C6 took me several years to get used to. And, I agree that the car DOES look better from some angles than others, but it doesn't look BAD from any angle to me......

The top yellow photo is just taken w/ a high angle and the wide angle
sorta distorts the car..on top of it the car is set off at an angle
which adds to the distortion..
..notice how the back wheel appears so much larger
than the front wheel in the pic. As a result it gives the car a rounded
slightly chubby look.
Crouch way down and get more to the side of the car and that yellow
car will have a sleeker more angular look to it.
Notice how low the camera was in the photo of the ZO6..
Seems like the front fenders are key to the ZO6...they have
more of a swoop to them and give the car a more aggresive and
aerodynamic look.
Like the sides and overall shape of C6 design...but
Sometimes seems that the front of C6 looks unfinished or incomplete
...and the back end has an odd curve to it..

I'm mixed. It's looks FBA from some angles, and down right awkward from others.
I'm a fan of the C4, especially the ZR-1 w/it's slightly wider rear. Lean, mean, and CLEAN. The C6 looks like a characature, buy comparison, IMO.

Agreed, the rear qtrs need the Z06 flair to keep the from looking too flat. However for me the big issue with Covette styling since the 1984 model is the rear qtrs do not taper down towards the bottm of the car at the the back. They rise from the B-pillar as they go back and stay up there at the tail. Look at the earleir C2-C3 Vettes and just about any other well designed sports cars and they all taper as the lines move to the rear. My $.02

I like the look of the C6 from every angle, except the rear end looks too chopped off. But overall, I love the car, and I'm glad they made it shorter. I liked my C5 a lot, but I like the C6 even better. Wasn't a big fan of the C4 styling. Those cars always looked like they were missing something.

I think the front bumper/lights leave something to be desired above, but I think the overall more rounded shape has appeal. But... that's just me.

2020 C6 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
I've had 3 C6's, my current one I've had for 1 1/2 years and it is the one I will keep till who knows, I have done quite a few mods both interior and exterior. Now still after having it for so long I still at times turn the garage light on and say "Damn what a cool car" and I'm 54 years old. It keeps me young I swear.

I really like the styling, but . . . The greenhouse is too tall, especially compared to a C5, and yes, a vert cures that, but only with the top down. The back end looks "chopped off" as a previous poster said.
However, I think it's the best looking of the modern Vettes. Second place goes to the later model C4 in my book. The C5, although nice and low, never really worked for me. To each his own . . .

I'll go into the garage to grab something, and take a few seconds to just gawk at my C6.
It never fails to put a smile on my face.

Everyone see's things differently but from my point of view...what's not to like about the C6? The C4 didn't do much for me...I thought the C5 was almost there and that the C6 finally got it all together. It was love at first sight with the C6...from any angle.
Can the C6 be improved upon? I hope so but I won't know for sure until I see the C7.
I think the C6 Z06 looks fine but the side air 'scoops' look somewhat like an afterthought...too angular...almost like someone cut them out of a box and stuck them on.
In reality, 99% of the general public couldn't tell a C6 from a Z06 if you parked them side by side.

Good question. Personally, no, I don't always like it from all angles. There is one particular side view (not full on side, not 3/4) where the coupe hatch looks out of proportion to me. I still maintain as I said in your last thread that to me the Z06 is the perfect package styling wise on this car. I suspect that color can play a role in this as well.
