Default I met Reeves Calloway and drove his new Corvette Today!!!

WoW!

He dropped by where I work and he was driving one of his new '08 Supernatural Corvettes.... we showed him around the place and then he let me drive his brand new supercharged 'Vette!!!

There's a private little strip that runs in front of our dealership... I wound out 3rd gear and got a little into 4th gear with him riding shotgun. We were doing 115 mph in a 40 zone.

Here's a pic of him (in red) I'm in the black shirt. His red 'Vette is in the left side of the shot.

Right before he left he signed the Fuel Rail Cover on my Zo6.

Yeah I typo'd his name in the title though....:o

It was a memory, he was very level headed, easy to chat with. Seriously, I can't believe I got to do all of that.

Whew! Calm down.

I'm in Atlanta... he had Connecticut plates... he said he was on a road trip and stopped by.

We have a few high dollar mid-year cars.... he took a look at a pair of '67s we've got.

I have some more pics of his car.... but the computer guy only loaded those two before he left for the day. His computer is locked via password so I'll try to get some shots of his car Monday....

I've got a video of the test drive/fly-by too!

My bet is he was driving a SUPERCHARGED CallAway Corvette, not a Supernatural.

Would your employer have stood behind your liability, for going "115 in a 40 zone"? "Private little strips," do not have speed limit signs posted.

That is great. I had a similar experience. Reves and Peter (his son) come to the "Cars and Coffee" car show in Irvine just about every weekend. One week when I was talking to them, Peter asked if I wanted to take his car for a ride...He handed me the keys and let me and my son take it out for a while. It was really fast. At some point I would really like to add one of there superchargers to my car. I was concerned if you could get over 600 HP to the ground....his car got the power to the ground VERY well. The car I drove had their suspension package as well. Both Reves and Peter are class acts.

I'm green with envy Josh! Again, congrats on meeting a corvette icon. I can't wait to see the vids though! Too cool!

Dude....

I mentioned in my second post that I typo'd his name by accident... (if you could read)

And yes my employers knew about the speed.... in fact.. the 1st pic shows CallAway on the left, me in the black shirt... and the two equal owners of the company in the yellow and white shirts... they watched as we video taped the fly-by (it's our strip in front of the place)
