Canadian Upgrade Daytime running lights for 2006
I just recently bought a 2006 C6 and have brought it back to Canada. Is there any way to make the DRL stay on permanent or do I need to have a dealership upgrade the program?

I do not understand. My DRLs stay on untill the headlights come on, (which shows the car) or untill I turn the stalk to killl them if I want to.

The day time running lights do not have to be after the headlights are engaged, The avalanche I drive is the same way after you turn the headlights on the day time running shut off enjoy your new car im jealous

As I Understand it
From my own search, I found a thread (try looking in the locations sub-forum) that it is manditory as you think and is a dealer reprogram. It didn't seem like a big deal. You will also need to change the foam absorbers on the bumpers. This is also a dealer thing, unless you want to do it yourself. It requires removeing the facias, swaping foam, and replacing the facias. I'm sure Gene can order them for you.
