Paul, the weather is great right now. Finally cooled off and humidity has dropped making it great weather.

I guess the next time it rains, I will take some pictures and post the Crappy day in Hawaii pictures.

Tantalus/Round Top drive has had a lot of work being done on the road so hard to take the car up there for fear of hitting a steel plate.

Sorry to hear the weather keeping those great cars tucked away, but when spring hits and those cars come out I envy the roads you guys get to drive. All I get to do is go around in circles

You guys take care, my daughters school just called saying my daughter is sick, so will be leaving work to get her. There goes my internet time.
Thanks for the update Gary. I sure hope it is nothing serious with your daughter. I can't wait to get out there next week. I'll see you sometime the week of the 4th. I checked the 10 day and the outlook is awesome.

While it has been cold here at least the snowfall has been kept to a minimum. We have less than 2 feet total this winter so far so no complaints. I'm sure looking forward to a slightly warmer climate for a week or two.

I know that it rains in Hawaii!!! I was stationed at Kaneohe Marine Corps Air Station when the top speed limit on Oahu was 45 MPH (1960's). You didn't see many Vettes then, but I guess there are a lot more now. What is your top speed limit? Although I did get tired driving around in circles, I loved living there and would go back in a heartbeat. Enjoy your Corvette, and enjoy your beautiful islands.

Two section of freeways go up to 60 mph, traffic officers give a 10 over the speed limit so 70 mph. Although there is one section of road where it is safe to do a fun run.

Paul, looking forward to seeing you here.

Update, on my daughter it seems she had an allergic reaction to something and has broken out in hives. Which is terrible for a girl just becoming a teenager and of all times when my wife has a bad cold.

[QUOTE=HawaiiC6;1563794561]I got off of work early and it was a beautiful day, temp in the mid 70's nice tradewinds with the sun up with some nice clouds in the sky.

I made it home and jumped into the Vette and took a nice drive.

Here are some pictures I took while heading down to the North Shore on Oahu, for those that know the area Haleiwa and Waialua. Sorry but took the pictures through my windshield while driving.

Stationed at Subase and NavCams in Wahiawa 1990-1998. Miss the weather, not the isolation.

Ahh Mannn G, Im ashamed of you man, leaving the people of the Westside to lookout for themselves so you can go cruising in your fancy a-- car, or as the youngsters say your Unique Whip. Hell I wish you would have called me, I came home and took a power nap, I would have much rather gone up north with you.

M, sorry bud I just rushed home as it was such a nice day. I should have called you as I was heading home, my bad. Took a nice fast spin all the way around to the H3 and then back. Was having a bad day at work and the cure was the drive, put that stupid a-- grin on my face.

Will definitely give you a call next time.

Is that open road I see in the picture? Looks like you need some more traffic. I'll send some over from the Big Island on the SuperFerry right away.
