Default People always surround us! funny pic

Im sure most of you experience this as well. everytime I park away from cars so that I can rest easy I wont come out with a door ding, I cope out and out of the 100's of open spaces there are 1-4 cars surrounding me! Even if I was inside for 5 minutes. Well I came across a funny pic that I thought I would put up.

Funny pic, but oh so true. I always try to park as close to a curb without curbing a rim so at least I have one side of the car guaranteed not to get a door ding. I had a 94 back yrs ago and some dumb *** threw a strawberry milkshake on the hood. It was nice and greasy and dry when I got out. Wish I had seen that happen

I do wish the Vette had the automatic side mirror power turn down like my Bimmer had. It was nice, put the car in reverse and the passenger side mirror tilted down towards the curb automatically. I miss that.

Funny picture! This is what happens to me everytime I am forced to park the Vette in parking lot. Seems like people are determined to make sure if someone has something nice, and they don't, might as well see if they can **** you off or give you a nice door ding.

Always find an end spot....at least you know one side will be "safe".

I set my passenger mirror to look at the curb on the driver #2 button, since I am the only one who drives my vette. When I'm parking, I just hit the driver#2 button, and the mirror tilts down
You have to have the hand brake on with the MN6 when you hit the button.

And if you park close to the "safe" side of the end spot you have a better chance on the vulnerable side.

That's my SOP. But 9 times out of 10, I will come back to find the car that parked next me on my unprotected side, has actually parked very close or over the line into my space. Just can't win!
