Default Moving across country - how can I tow my C6?

We were looking at a Penske truck, but their website states the C6 is not towable with their equipment. I was going to go down & measure their car carier to see if if might be workable, but if not, does anyone have any advice on how to to the car?

Thanks & Merry Christmas!

U-haul has low trailers, but you need to test fit your car to see if it will go on one. If possible, I would drive the car instead. Be sure you are covered insurance wise if you tow it.

Assuming you have considered professional transport and rejected for cost or whatever reason, if you choose to rent a trailer just be very careful and check out the equipment condition. U-haul and others have a poor reputation. Good luck with the move.

Yes - $1200 open, $1900 closed.

Buy a trailer, then sell it when ou arrive. You can probably get most of your money back minus $250

Raleigh, south Wake county.

You will have to show me some really curvy roads there; I've been spoiled here in that respect.

Will do.

Most of the Corvette owners here are old geezers that don't do anything other than Zaino their cars & go on Hooters "cruises".

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Uhaul does too, as does Penske (at a third of the cost!).

Looks like I can make it work (based on the Uhaul site replete with pictures), though I may need to pick up some 2" x 8" lumber. I'll go down the Penske yard tomorrow & gather measurements.

Oddly enough, the Penske application that checks whether or not your vehicle will fit their carrier said our 2007 Rav4 is not supported either.
