Default 4LT Owners Happy?

Hi, how much do you like your 4LT interiors? How's build quality?

I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. I really love it. It's as much a reason for my 08 upgrade as the engine, NPP, etc.

Build quality is better than any Corvette I've ever seen.

Extremely pleased with the quality of this interior. I would order it again.

Glad to see that GM has figured it out! People will pay a little more for a nice interior.

A LITTLE? $3,500 does not strike me as a "little" for some cow hides glued to the existing interior panels.

I do respect that they are offering it, and no flames to those who are buying it.

While I don't have 4LT, I do like the look. My only wish is that GM offered it in more color combinations.

Believe me, it's a little more than "some cow hides glued to the existing interior panels". Read the write-up in Corvette Quarterly and check it out for yourself. If $3500 is problem for you than so be it. Not a problem for me.

I would have preferred an all black version.

Unless you've seen it in person, or better yet owned it , you don't really know what it is.

I saw it for the first time on the showroom floor of my nearby dealer. I just went to see it, not buy it.

Too bad I drove my 07 to look at it.

Drove home in the 08.

I did read the write-up. That's exactly what it is - cowhides glued to the stock interior.

Please understand I'm not knocking the interior or flaming anyone for buying it (read my first post). I'm just saying I think its too much money. That is just my opinion and not intended to offend anyone.

I don't dissagree that "I don't really know what it is", but I do know what it costs!

- GM's BIGGEST mistake with the 4LT was gluing the leather to the same el-cheapo plastic !!! They did the same thing in my XLR-V and it really cheapens what could have been a great interieor treatment . Dont get me wrong , I think it looks miles better than the standard 1-3LT's , and I dont even think the price is so out of whack (it would cost you more to do it yourself ) , but c'mon GM , a little extra padding bettween plastic and leather would have made a world of differance !!

To those that have it , enjoy it , it looks light years better than the interior of my black lump !!

Do the seats also get a better leather with this package? That's my #1 complaint with the interior..........
