Orang Crush.........
When I started looking at C6s, never considered the orange colors. One of the things that rattled around in my feeble mind was my wife's description of a car I had many years ago as "baby $hi+ brown". Now. every time I see one of the orange cars, I double take, and have come to really like the DSOM and AO colors. Anyone else experience this kind of conversion?

I have the AO on a 2007 coupe. Everyone from age five to sixty has told me how distinctive the color is. I think it's not so much the color itself as how well they applied the paint.
It has a very deep look to it even though it hasn't been waxed yet, and really comes alive at twilight.

I am an old guy too. I fell for the AO. I was thinking red or crm but my sons, wife and many others kept telling me not to get red like everyone else so, I got the AO. I like others have said, I get many positive comments

That's funny. I have an AO vert. My uncle calls it calf sh*t brown. Course he's never seen it in the sun. BTW, I'm probably crazy because in addition to the AO vette, I have a Orange flame '76 vette and a Sunset orange metallic T/A.

I had two C3's that were orange - - a Corvette Orange `73 back in the day which was certainly consistent with my leisure suit and the times . . .the other a 74 I painted a shade similar to Ontario Orange . . .great colors but again, personal preference.
I'd love to have a DSOM car today too !

I went through a lot of second-guessing after my wife and I ordered our AO coupe. It arrived Friday and the color is growing on me very fast. My wife loves it already, and I think it will only be a short time before I love it as well.
So yeah, basically the same thing is happening to me: It's growing on my very quickly

I was coming out of The Home Depot yesterday and there was a car parked close to mine (irritated at first because I parked very far away). As I got closer I saw it was a teenage kid and his father, the kid was driving and was stopped to take a picture of my car with his cell phone. I stopped so that I wouldn't walk in front of the picture...and he says "Love your car, that has to be the coolest Vette I have ever seen".
