hmm, depends. What do you want?
If you want the NSX, a helluva car, then it's no issue at all.
If it were me (and it was ), I'd get the new Vette. But there's nothing against one of the most balanced, technically advanced cars like the NSX.

Go drive the vette and I think you'll have your answer. Also you will get a warranty and a better finance rate if you are financing your purchase. Right now is a good time to make a deal on a new vette, you may get more than you think for 45k.

Honestly a 1997 anything is neither old nor a classic. With that said, I do love the NSX, always have but for my money it would be (was) and will be the Corvette.

No joke , my son is looking at a NSX today with 20 K on it, for 45K. I think a new vette would be a no brainer ,but he has always loved the NSX!! He drives a VW R-32 & races it at road tracks like Gratten & Gingerman. This would be his everyday car.

Depends on whether you want to drive it or not. I would think a low-mileage NSX like the one you describe would lose some of its value if driven regularly.
I like the NSX, but between that and a new Corvette -- I'd get a lot more enjoyment from the Corvette.
