Trying very hard to take the high road….
It seems that here lately every post I place I have another sales person here trying to one up ME in particular. I am trying very hard to take the high road on this but it is getting very old. What say the forum members on this subject?????

Competition... the life-blood of capitalism. Sorry, no sympathy from me.

Just give it to us for $10k off and be done with it. I will personally drive there Friday and trade in my C6 for that Z06.

I'll take a bit more conciliatory approach - -
I think most of the forum members realize that they're the beneficiaries of the multiple dealerships that sponsor this forum . . if nobody's said it lately - - many thanks.
I also think most folks recognize the gamesmanship that sometimes happens between competing forum sponsors and take it with a grain of salt - - -those kinds of things have a way of backfiring in my view.
Rather than get dragged into a public debate with little upside, perhaps you ought to communicate your concerns with the forum administrators to get their pulse. If indeed there are issues or foul play, they can address them through a back-channel caution that keeps your dirty laundry from airing for all to see.
You and your dealership seem to enjoy a great reputation here on the forum - -I'm sure everyone wants to keep it that way - - good luck . .and thanks.

Both of you have your style ... at the end of the day, I do not care about your battle ... and most of the forum will not either ..>

It sounds like he's is saying whatever you can do, he can do better. The question is can they service their clients as well as you can? At the end of the day, you probably won't get much sympathy from the forum members as we are always looking for a deal: and after all, you are still making a good living off our purchases.
It is kind of crummy that the other dealer isn't assertive enough to offer deals of his own, rather than just one up you everytime you post one.
Maybe you should have merger talks.

Rick,
In an internet market where price is one of the largest determinants of purchase behavior, there will always be someone cheaper. The key is not to be the lowest priced, but rather offer the best value. Intangibles go a long way to satisfy. Unless you're the Wal-Mart of the auto industry, someone is going to beat your price, case closed.

Rick, he's not posting in your thread, he's posting in his own thread. The fact that he's competing with you so overtly is actually pretty humorous. I say, let's see more of this!
Frankly, Rick, this sounds like whining. You're winning no points with me.

I don't think anybody does it better than you Rick -when it comes to servicing the Corvette community.
Don't sweat things you cannot control. You've been an icon on this Forum for along time, and every time I get a chance I sing your praises loudly.
I got your back.

To the contrary, the other "Rick" told me to call you when he did not have any 07s to sell. So do not think he is out to get you just trying to make sales.
As long as he is staying out of your thread that you started there is nothing you can do..Goodluck to both of you..
Both great dealers...

You choose to do business this way and this is what you get. I know you have a lot more than price to offer, but when you have customers traveling as far as you do, you gotta play the game.
