My First Vette
Bought my first vette, a black on black 2007, this year.
Took me 43 years to grow-up enough to handle one of these. Wish I would have had one in my younger days, but it's a good thing I waited. I have a hard time now keeping it below the red-line .

Purchased my first Vette in 1961, just before my 15th birthday. It cost $2100 and I had saved $1000 from my after-school and summer jobs. My Dad co-signed a bank note for the other $1100 which I repaid at the rate of $10/week. The Vette was a '59 Crown Sapphire
283/3spd and was a blast to drive, when I finally could shortly after my 16th birthday in 1962. I've owned 7 vettes since then and still drive a '67 in the summer.

Bought my 1st at age 56 - a #'s matching '69 red vert fully restored. Some say it's the middle age crisis. I say if you reach middle age and can't have a Corvette that IS a crisis! I'm now getting ready to buy an '08, but can't decide on color and options.
