Worrisome drip/hissing noise...
Hey guys,
My nearly new 07 DD coupe does something that bothers me - just like any car that has had the AC running, there is a lot of condensation that drips down when I park it.
Problem (maybe) with my Vette is that the water is hitting something that makes it boil instantly, creating an UNGODLY hissing noise.
I don't have a lift or anything, and everything seems to be fine otherwise, but should it be hitting something that hot? I haven't hit nor run over anything that would make me think I f'd up anything in the undercarriage...
Main reason I bought a new C6 over a used C5Z - warranty.
Should I take it in?
Thanks in advance,
Mike

It's the A/C condensate drain, it drips on the passenger side exhaust pipe. It's normal, you should worry if you don't hear it that means the drain is clogged, which could cause water leaks on the BCM.

Holy quick replies, Batman - that was quick.
Thank you, guys! I was afraid something was amiss (and it is hot to the nth degree down here - cool water would probably almost boil hitting any metal down there even if the car was just sitting in the sun.)
Thanks again!
