Default What to do with my 2006?

Local dealer is willling to give me 3k less than I paid for the 2006 new and will take my GM employee discount on a 2008. I only really lose out on the sales tax which in CA is the on the full price of the car. So I pay 3K for depreciation of the car for nearly two years use. I can pick up a new 1lt, mn6, z51, npp in atomic orange for 42599.05 plus t,t,l. Heck throw in museum delivery for another $392. I also pick up a new 5 year/100K mile warranty, which is a big step up from the 3 year 36K one I am rapidly running out of now. Would you do it? I think I will.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Try to get him to go to $2500 but even if he doesn't, you're doing pretty good.

Sounds pretty equitable to me-- heck .. . you'd spend two grand on the extra 2 year warranty!

Be sure and post a pic of the new Vette!

Seems you've already made up your mind Personally, I think you've got yourself a great deal If I were in that position--and I wish I were--I wouldn't hesitate to jump on it, but that's just me.

Sounds great. Are you removing your mods as part of the deal or is the dealer willing to accept the car with them?

Go for it! The warranty alone makes it worth it.

I didn't even read your whole post!!! $3K less than what you paid for your '06?????? Unless you're poverty stricken, don't stop getting a new car. Period.

Good luck. Show us pics.

If you are not signing the papers at the dealer right now something is wrong. Take it and dont look back.

It seems almost too good to be true. Do it before it's too late.

It sounds like a great deal, to me. In fact, it almost sounds too good to be true. If it's above board, I'd jump on it.

Is a 1LT the one you want or the one you have to get for the deal?

If you're happy with the 1LT, good for you.
