Decision - 08 Color Combo. Help!
Ok I've narrowed down my 08 order to 2 specific color combinations for my 08 Convertible. Help me decide!
First, I want the color combination to be on the rare side. Not like every other vette on the road. I like to be somewhat daring, but yellow or orange are just not my thing. I like blues and whites
Choice #1: Arctic White, Ebony/Titanium interior, competition gray wheels, black top. I know white is the least made color, but are there too many white cars on the road? The 2-tone interior might really set it off right with the gray wheels.
Choice #2: Jetstream Blue/ Solid Ebony interior, Chrome wheels, black top. New color, not many will be made. Sets it apart from all the other C6's.
Opinions please? Pro's and Con's....Thx!

First off, I like all the Corvette colors so as far as I am concerned there isn’t a bad looking C6 on the road. But, since I had to make almost the same decision that you are going through, I will tell you what my deciding factor was.
I was upstairs looking out a window at a large parking lot full of cars, and although the cars were scattered throughout the lot, the most noticeable thing to me was that almost all of the colors were a mosaic of blah conformity. The progression of colors from the lightest to the darkest started at various shades of white, then silver, then tan, then grey, then dark blue, then to black. There were a few red cars here and there but even most of them were a dark red such as a maroon. There were only two cars that stood out from the crowd; my yellow Jeep Wrangler and a medium blue C5 Corvette (I think color is called Nassau blue).
I hadn’t really considered Jetstream Blue up to that point, but that C5 Nassau Blue Corvette did stand out as a very nice color in the parking lot sea of car color conformity. So as you have probably already guessed, I chose to order a 2008 Jetstream Blue Corvette. I also love yellow but I already have a yellow Jeep, a yellow motorcycle and a yellow off road Rhino, and I was afraid I might go into yellow overload if I bought another yellow vehicle.
So if you really want a color that is different than most of the other cars on the road, and you don’t like yellow or orange, then Jetstream is about your only choice left. But one nice thing to remember is that any color you pick will look good on your new Corvette! Let us know what you decide.
Oh yea, you might want to reconsider the solid ebony interior on your convertible. The titanium or two tone titatium & black might be a better choice. Reason: If you park your car in the hot sun with the top down, you will be sitting on the equivalent of a leather solar panel when you get back in. Been there, done that!

When I first thought of ordering my VY 08 Vert, I toyed with the idea of paying extra to get the interior in two-tone red embroidered seats. I thought it would look distinctive and set the car apart. My wife thought it look awful, and since she has been such a sport about this, I changed the color to two-tone cashmere. Any thought on whether I should have stuck by my guns -- no jokes about being pu--y whipped! This is a woman who supported 11 expensive years of vintage racing!

How about #2 with 4LT interior black and linen? Now that would be different.

The c6 really looks good in silver, white is classic, but you may also want to think of silver with 2 tone red black. Even the black cashmere would look great. I didn't have the ***** to do the red/black 2 tone so I went with the black/cashmere, black ext/comp gray. The comp gray rims look really good on the white and silver also. Good luck, I agonized over atomic orange and ended up with black. They are all beautiful. Hope that drivel helped.....

How about going with Jet Stream Blue with the Red interior...NOT!
JSBlue with the titanium interior is the way I would go with the vert.
Good luck on your decision.
