I am still waiting for my 2008 C6 coupe to arrive...i was given a delivery date 7/27.

I have seen losts of shots of the outside but none of the new interior, more specifically the center dash control area?

Could someone please post some pics???? Thanks!

Do all packages come with the Carbon Fiber and the leather around the console? I am going to order a 1 LT and was just wondering if it came with them also.

What you see above is the new base interior. That is the carbon fiber pattern for the base surround and the black leather wrap is also standard. The second set of pictures I posted in this thread are of the optional 4LT and the different pattern on the center console.

As good looking as the 4LT is, to me, that standard, stock, interior posted first certainly does look good! I think it's a winner and significant improvement for sure. Thanks for the comparo pics.

I love the car, can't wait to get mine... but... as far as the new CF console and the standard interior, I think it's a step backwards. I wanted to like it, I was hoping that when I saw it in person it would look better than the pics I've seen, but that just wasn't so. The CF looks cheap. The sheer glossiness of it makes me think I'm driving a 1987 firebird with aftermarket trim. The pods on the sides of the steering wheel no longer match the console which was a nice detail in the pre-08s... Will it stop me from buying an 08? no, but I know what my first mod will be...

First set of pics are the new base interior (1,2 or 3 LT) this replaces the painted silver. Second set are 4LT. You can see the difference in the two console surround photos.

It still looks good though! I saw an 08 at a dealer today and when you look at it's interior and then go look at an 07 with it's flat black console treatment, it just does not look anywhere near as nice.

After seeing my first 08 today (and in Jetstream Blue) I can't see myself getting an 05-07 anymore, there are just so many awesome improvements on the 08. I MUST get an 08 now (which means I'll have to wait even longer to get one since it is already a few years away before I can afford an 05, let alone an 08)

If anyone is shopping for a new Vette right now, don't let the little bit of $$$ savings sway you into getting an 07. Spend the little bit extra on the 08, it's definitely worth it.
