It's getting a little bit tiresome hearing all the people whining about how GM is discontinuing LMB. Sure it's a very nice color, but it's nice that GM is making changes instead of just offering the same 8 colors every year.
LeMans Blue does indeed look very nice, but to me I do think it's a bit too dark and shows swirls and dust just about as bad as black. It looks great in bright sunlight, but a bit dull on cloudy days. I think JetStream Blue is a nice change and I do think it'll be fairly popular. It would've been nice to see a bright blue similar to Electron Blue make a comeback, and it wouldn't surprise me to see something like that in a few years, perhaps it'll be offered on the C7.
I just wonder why GM doesn't offer a custom color option. I was talking to a bunch of Porsche owners yesterday and they were telling me that for about $6000 you can get ANY possible color you want on a new Porsche. You send them a sample of the color, and they'll do it! Same with the interior, you can get any color you possibly want. How hard would it be for GM to do the same thing, really?

Frankly, LMB does nothing for me and I'm sure it did nothing for the majority of other buyers, hence it was discontinued it was the worst blue made, Electron blue wasn't too bad but GM had a problem in that nothing could touch Nassau Blue so they brought it back again. The LMB was so dark it belonged on a sedan, not on a sports car.

While I'm no fan of blue cars, Jetstream Blue would look pretty cool on a vert.
LMB was a waste. It's so dark, it might as well be black. It appears that just about every LMB pic posted was taken in direct sunlight on a cloudless day.
I'm glad to see GM is getting with the program and coming out with brighter colors for the Vette.

The great thing about LMB is it appears to change color depending on the light. I have seen mine look blue, purple, black and shades in between very cool. On the down side it is almost as hard to keep clean as a black car, but when it is nothing looks sharper. People stare and comment all the time about what a beautiful (chicks) or cool/awesome (guys) looking car.
To me standard red/yellow etc colors are boring.......... but hey their all vetts and that makes it's all good.

IMO I think GM is just too big a corporation to offer personal options on a production car. Porsche is much smaller and more versitile when it comes to this sort of thing.

No, they were smart. I was happy with my black 07. I'd never even consider LBM. Jetsteam, however, I would buy in a heartbeat, and is the only reason I could see possibly buying another C6 before the C7 comes out. So already they have a potential sale from me, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
How often do you see dark blue on sports cars anyway? There's a reason.

Here we go again...the LMB vs JSB debate. It's getting up there just below the Z51 badges debate....Hey, maybe I should get the Z51 badges on my new JSBlue Z51!

I didn't realize how many people hate LMB. I have had my '07 LMB for right at a year, I love it! I am still happy I bought it. It is a classy look for the Vette. The JS blue is just too Aquaman for me.

I have to agree. I'm a blue lover and I didn't care for LMB. LMB was too dark, showed all of the swirls and I never seen one that didn't have an unacceptable amount of orange peel in it. I'm happy they've brought back a lighter blue.
